Salary: $100,000–$150,000 Base Salary +

Are you a proven field leader who knows how to keep commercial concrete projects on schedule, on budget, and operating safely?

 

• Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Concrete Superintendent to oversee large-scale commercial foundation and structural concrete projects throughout the Pontiac, Michigan area. What You'll Do:

• Lead all daily field operations from site preparation through project completion.
• Supervise foremen, laborers, finishers, equipment operators, and subcontractors.
• Manage commercial foundations, structural concrete, slabs, walls, footings, and elevated concrete work.
• Coordinate schedules, manpower, equipment, and material deliveries to maximize productivity.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards while staying on schedule and within budget.
• Enforce MIOSHA regulations and maintain a strong culture of jobsite safety.
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and owners to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.

 

What We're Looking for:

• 8+ years of commercial concrete construction experience. This requires someone with commercial experience.
• 3+ years as a Superintendent or senior field leader.
• Strong knowledge of commercial foundations, structural concrete, formwork, rebar, and concrete placement.
• Proven ability to lead multiple crews and subcontractors on active commercial projects.
• Excellent blueprint reading, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities with a commitment to safety and quality.
