Position: Hourly Manager
Location: Rochester, MI
Salary: Up to $44,000 annually
Hourly Pay: $18–$20/hr + tips (avg. $4/hr)
Effective Pay: $22–$24/hr (bi-weekly payroll + daily cash tips)
Hours: 30–38 per week (rarely over 40)
Schedule: 4 PM–9 PM (Sun–Thu), 4 PM–10 PM (Fri–Sat)

Position Summary:
- Grant’s Pizza LLC, a growing fast-casual pizza concept, is seeking an Hourly Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations in Rochester, MI. This hands-on leadership role ensures smooth shift execution, team supervision, guest satisfaction, food quality, and compliance with brand standards. The Hourly Manager partners with the General Manager to drive sales, control costs, and develop crew members in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct shifts to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate team members to deliver consistent service.
- Uphold food safety, sanitation, and health code standards.
- Ensure menu items meet brand specifications.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve concerns promptly.
- Manage labor during shifts, including scheduling, breaks, and assignments.
- Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and minimize waste.
- Operate POS systems, handle cash, and complete shift reporting.
- Open/close the restaurant following security protocols.
- Train new team members and reinforce performance standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support the General Manager in achieving sales and profitability goals.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of restaurant management or shift supervisor experience (QSR or fast-casual preferred).
- Hands-on leadership with a lead-by-example approach.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards; ServSafe certification a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash-handling.
- Flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
