Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team in Chicago. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after invasive cardiovascular procedures while collaborating with cardiologists and the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring and patient assessment.
• Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, patient-centered care.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN License
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience in Cath Lab, ICU, CCU, CVICU, ER, Critical Care, or Interventional Radiology preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
